Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh
Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh is working in National Innovation Foundation India (NIF), holding the position of Innovation Officer/Scientist C and Heading the Value Addition Research and Development (Human Health) division. He is responsible for translation research by converting the traditional knowledge and grassroots innovations into value added products for human use. He is having research expertise in the field of herbal & microbial technologies, validation & value addition, and its intellectual property protection. Dr. Singh has handled and handling many validation projects related to in vitro, pre-clinical and clinical studies in the area of hypertension, tuberculosis, malaria, diabetes, cataract, asthma, epilepsy etc. Dr. Singh has research and industrial experience of more than 15 years in the field of translational research, drug discovery, microbial and herbal technologies, traditional knowledge and grassroots innovations. Dr. Singh has developed various value added formulations, published 50+ research articles and had filed seven Indian patents. He has done PhD in Science and also obtained MBA degree.
